Colleen Guirand is an aspiring product designer with 3 years experience in wireframing, coding,  storyboard telling and web design.

She got her start working on user interface and experience designs for an online fitness company called JetSweat Fitness. From there, she helped launch several IOS updates and designed pages for both new and returning customers.

With four years of marketing and journalism exposure, Guirand took her knowledge to the next level by joining TeraThought where she exclusively worked with developers to create a platform that allows users to borrow and lend household items throughout their community. During her time, Guirand created marketing strategies and designs that aligned with the company's core goals and values.

Guirand is a Media and Communications BA and Digital Design Marketing candidate at SUNY College at Old Westbury. She is a member of the on-campus newspaper station, The Catalyst and a member of the campus dance team. Her journalist piece, Drug Cartel is Taking Over, and magazine design was nominated for a 2021 SUNY Old Westbury Media Arts Celebration Award for Best News Story and Best Magazine Cover. But it was her ability to give constructive criticism in Sza Did It Again that won the award for Best Article Review.
